The winter is already turning into Spring at the Côte d'Azur. It is green all year round, but now we get more colors from blooming trees and mimosas again. Birds are singing, the sun is heating the air, people smile after a few months of winter dullness. Cyclists start going out wearing only their short cycling pants again. Lifesparkz Bike Tours has sprung into the new year with a list of bike tours options for you, new partnerships and learning activities - all in order to operate towards our green goals:

I devote 2017 to the year of cycling, learning and sharing knowledge about how to create a sustainable living. To me cycling is more than a means of transportation. It is a feeling of freedom of movement, it brings me to close to amazing places in Nature, it gives me physical and mental challenges, a room for reflection as well as an activity to share with fellow cyclists. It gives me adventure. Plus it saves me money.

Living in this beautiful region, I realise that cycling is so much more than I used to think of it. When living in Denmark, cycling is normal - here it is a lifestyle and a life choice. I am now an ambassador of making cycling the new normal in this corner of the world, and hopefully in many more places.

No, I do not drink Absinthe during my bike tours... but I have put an easy leisure tour around Antibes on the program for touristic tours, which you can do when you are in the area. In Antibes, you can visit this Absinthe Bar in the old town!

Bike tours 2017

Every week, you can join the group touristic bike tours departing from either Nice or Antibes. I am also happy to do private tours for your group or you as an individual! Those tours are for everyone, who would like to see a bit more of these pretty towns and the areas around them. Every curious tourist cyclist look here.

I have also designed a number of sportive/racer bike tours on 3 different levels. Every week, I do a sportive group tour as well, which makes it cheaper for you to go than as an individual. Of course, I am more than happy to design a package for you and your friends - for one or more days. For that, use my catalogue for inspiration, and ask me for your price.

In addition I put on some discover cycling events in the calender for people, who just want a few hours out on the bike, leaving from Nice. A lot of people do not feel safe while cycling in Nice. During these events, we will bike easy and focus on how to cycle safely, while enjoying the beautiful surroundings - and have a few sociable hours.

Guided cycling designed for you

I am partnering up now with other companies, who see the benefits of cycling when you visit the Côte d'Azur. I design one and multiple-day guided tours for groups of people, who come to Nice for hard core cycling training - or for people on a holiday, where they like to see the region while doing an activity. It is a great pleasure to work with different suppliers and create cycling packages, which match the needs of travelers. I am lucky to know a few other local great bike guides, who can help guiding, if you are a big group coming here or need different levels of tours.

Well, I am not sure about that.. but to share some of the beautiful sights you can get from the bike, I have created Lifesparkz Bike Tours' YouTube channel, where I post videos from bike tours once in a while.

Biketime stories, a platform for e-sharing and learning

A goal for 2017 is also to share the knowledge, which come up during our daily activities, in the workshops, or in meetings with other companies, on a serie of blogposts on this site about sustainable living and entrepreneurship. By the end of 2017, a green goal is to collect good stories to an e-book :-)
