Tina Baltzer
Lifesparkz Bike Tours was founded by Tina Baltzer in 2016 out of a passion for sharing and promoting cyclism in the Nice region.
Tina is a Danish Nicoise. Growing up in Denmark, I learned to ride a bike as soon as I learned how to walk. I got my first bike, when I was 2-years old and I have been riding a bike almost every day since..
I enjoy having an active life and became fond of triathlon in 2013. I have participated in multiple full and half Ironman in Europe plus various cyclosportives in the Alpes-Maritimes. My main objective for cycling at the time being is merely to discover more of the local region and have fun by bike!
Languages: English, Danish (mother tongue) and French.

Before I established myself as an independant bike guide in Nice, France, with Lifesparkz in 2016, I worked for 10 years in the Danish Ministry of Employment. At the time, I worked with industrial injuries and as an advisor to a boards of directors in business strategy, employee engagement, organisational change and leadership, 2007-2015. 2018-2022 I worked as Country Manager for Denmark for a Swedish start-up focusing on administrating financial aspects of business for freelancers in Denmark.
I have worked as a volunteer for various NGOs in Denmark, including the Society for Future Studies, Danish Red Cross and the Danish Refugee Council. I have been a part of Copenhagen entrepreneural networks occupied with sustainable business, CSR, innovation and crowdsourcing since 2013 and care much about ways to act in order to discover the world in as sustainable ways as we can.
I moved to the Côte d'Azur in 2015 in order to be able to enjoy and explore this beautiful region and generous climate, sat up Lifesparkz Bike Tours out of love for cycling and to experience first hand how it is to work with concepts of sustainability as a business owner.

One of my favourite local rides is up to the village Peille - Cycling about 25 km from Nice, up some 650 meters climb and find this magic place where time seems to stand still. In a few hours of cycling from the busy Côte d'Azur you find these spots full of beauty and tranquility. Quality of life is having the freedom to ride your bike and feel life throughout your body and soul as you climb into these majestic mountains: Les Alpes-Maritimes.
